2011-12-27 : Application Virtualization Explorer 2.3.1 has been released

This update changes .NET framework activation order for AVE and fixes OS selection issue. Upgrading is recommended for all 2.3.0 users.

2011-12-12 : Announcing Application Virtualization Explorer 2.3 release

This new version adds number of enhancements and new features into product, including even more enhanced scripting support and ability to create packages from scratch directly inside AVE itself. These new features make it easier than before to handle almost all of your App-V package maintenance, support and troubleshooting tasks with AVE's familiar and industry's easiest App-V package editing interface.

Upgrading to new version is highly recommended for all AVE customers with valid maintenance in effect.

2011-09-22 : Application Virtualization Explorer 2.2.6 has been released

This update fixes critical issue when saving out 32-bit App-V packages in 4.6 format and subsequently trying to use those package on 64-bit machines.

Upgrading to 2.2.6 is strongly recommended for all customers working with App-V 4.6 packages. Additionally, all customers who have saved App-V 4.6 packages with previous version(s) of AVE are advised to download 32-bit fixup tool from the Customer Portal and process all existing 32-bit packages saved from AVE with the tool.

This update improves compatibility for virtual registry encoding and fixes issues with running 4.6 packages in 64-bit systems. Upgrading to this release is advised for all Lib-V customers.
